Greetings in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ! You are about to take an adventure with me into the exciting vision of Kingdom Center Ministries.
Each year I get before the Lord to receive the marching orders for the ministry for the year. I attribute our amazing success in ministry to the strategic planning, sense of purpose and the sovereign favor that is on our lives.
In keeping with scriptural process for the completion of kingdom mandates, this presentation is the vision written, waiting for those who read it to find their part in it so that co-laboring might take place.
"Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run with it that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie; though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." - Habakkuk 2:2-3
Kingdom Center Ministries is a great church because of the commitment of ordinary people who make themselves available to do extra ordinary things for the kingdom of God.
"If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure." - Job 36:11

Pastor Robert West, Sr. is a preacher, teacher, leader and author dedicated to winning the lost for Jesus Christ and developing others to fulfill their God-given purpose. Pastor West was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee and graduated from Manassas High School. He studied architecture, technology, music and the arts in college before his later pursuit in biblical studies at Mid-South Bible College and Southern Seminary.
Professionally, he held several positions. Those positions include Contractor at John Heirigs Construction, Regional Manager at Christian Food Center, Mechanical Assistant at MLGW, Regional Vice President at Primerica Financial Services and more. There was a turning point, however, where Pastor West entered fulltime ministry.
Pastor Robert West confessed Jesus Christ as Lord as a young man at twenty-two years old. Growing in the faith, knowledge and love of Christ, he committed himself to this new life-changing relationship. He heard God’s call to ministry in 1980 and was ordained the following year. Since ordination, he has served in numerous positions in ministry.
In 1981, Pastor West became the Assistant Pastor for St. Peter’s Rock Missionary Baptist Church. In 1982, he served as Assistant Pastor at Lamar Terrace Baptist Church, where he later became the Senior Pastor for over 20 years. In 2005, he pastored One Faith Fellowship Church for 5 years before founding Kingdom Center Ministries in Memphis, Tennessee. Pastor West currently shepherds the wonderful congregation of Kingdom Center Ministries, heeding the call and operating in an undeniable gift for community and urban outreach.
Pastor Robert West, Sr. has also been active in other ministry endeavors. He is currently the President of the African American Fellowship of the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Current and previous positions include:
• President of the Mid-South African American Fellowship
• State President of the National African American Fellowship of the Southern Baptist Convention
• Board Member of the Mid-South Covenant Churches
• Co-founder of the 5th Sunday Fellowship in West Tennessee
Pastor West participates in the Desoto & Tate County Mississippi Baptist Associations and Convention. He also participates in Leadership Development and Church Growth throughout the state of Tennessee, Dr. Chris McNairy of the Urban Fusion Network.
Pastor West is a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. His lovely wife and helper in ministry is First Lady Jeanette West, to whom he has been married for over 50 years. They have five children who are also active in the ministry.
